Job summary

Congruex in Ohio seeks laborers to join our growing construction crew. You will travel to various job sites and perform duties in a safe, professional manner with training provided. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work as part of a crew are essential.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening and meet physical demands, including lifting up to 75 pounds. Prior construction exposure is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and MVR.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend safety / huddle meetings and participate in safety talks.
• Operate tamping machines as per specifications.
• Inspect machines, equipment and assist with maintenance.
• Assist with loading and unloading jobsite materials.
• Maintain neat and clean work area on site.
• Assist with excavation of trenches and backfilling.
• Place conduit in open trenches and proof conduits.
• Potholing existing utilities and setting structures.
