Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Laborer to support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks and assisting with underground utility installation. You will help with trenching, conduit placement, and site maintenance to ensure projects run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include assisting with concrete work, operating basic equipment, and upholding safety standards on busy outdoor worksites across Columbus. Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and MVR review.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in daily safety and huddle meetings.
• Operate tamping machines and assist with equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Load and unload materials and maintain clean, organized worksites.
• Assist with trench excavation, conduit placement, potholing, and utility locating.
• Support concrete forming, pouring, asphalt preparation, and structure installation.
• Observe and promote safety compliance and report incidents as required.
