Job summary

Congruex is seeking a CDL Driver I/II in Columbus, OH to safely transport construction equipment and materials to job sites, support field operations, and maintain equipment. You will operate commercial vehicles, assist crews, and help ensure on-time deliveries with safe, efficient practices.

Qualified candidates will hold a CDL, a DOT medical card, OSHA 10, and have experience with heavy equipment and DOT documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Flagger Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment daily, including oil checks, fueling, greasing, maintenance.
• Organize and maintain inventory of tools and daily truck preparation.
• Complete DVIR and mandatory safety inspections.
• Maintain flatbed trailers and hauling equipment.
• Operate construction equipment such as backhoes, excavators, loaders, rotomills, saws.
• Load and secure equipment within legal weight limits for efficiency.
• Deliver equipment safely and on schedule to support operations.
• Identify hazards and take corrective action.
• Coordinate daily assignments with dispatch.
• Attend safety and departmental meetings.
• Assist crews with labor activities and support other crews as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
