Job summary

Ohio CAT Rental Store, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., seeks a Union Driver to transport construction equipment to customer sites and other locations. The role includes loading, unloading, load securing, and ensuring rental agreements are completed with care.

Applicants must hold a Class A CDL and DOT medical certification, maintain a clean driving record, and be willing to join the labor union. Prior truck-driving experience is required, with familiarity of equipment a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL license and a current DOT Medical Certification Card or ability to obtain before beginning employment.
• Must have a clean driving record in accordance with company policy.
• Must have ability and CDL endorsement to operate a manual transmission.
• Familiarity with construction equipment operation is highly preferred.
• Prior experience as a truck driver is required.
• The Driver will be required to join labor union.

Responsibilities

• Transport Ohio Machinery's general construction equipment to and from customers and/or other locations via tractor-trailer (dovetail).
• Load and unload equipment, secure loads, and provide great customer service.
• Complete Rental agreements and inspect the equipment before delivery and upon return.
