Job summary

Furmano Foods seeks a safety‑mocused Jockey Driver to move trailers within the facility yard, support loading/unloading, and coordinate with warehouse teams. CDL Class A is required; 1–2 years yard truck or spotter experience is preferred.

Duties include operating the jockey truck and forklift, checking paperwork, and working outdoors in all weather. Position is full‑time, 2nd shift, with potential overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A license required.
• 1–2 years of yard truck/spotter experience preferred.
• Familiarity with yard safety protocols and trailer spotting procedures.
• Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces and around docks.
• Experience using two-way radios, YMS, or similar tools is helpful.
• Understanding of basic vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical issues.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Jockey Truck and forklift.
• Unload and load beans for production runs.
• Unload pallets, cartons and other warehouse supplies.
• Fill staging sheets correctly and maintain accuracy.
• Receive dry beans and paste; ensure paperwork is complete.
• Support production with beans from freight station and bean building.
• Maintain positive teamwork by communicating and helping coworkers.
• Operate a plow to move snow and spread salt when needed.
