Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Active DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card) required.
• Prior experience operating commercial yard equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly over radio and follow instructions.
• Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and equipment safely within the yard per directions.
• Spot trailers at dock doors and staging areas.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of yard vehicles and equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment promptly to supervision.
• Communicate trailer origin/destination and complete moves via two-way radio.
• Coordinate with Transportation and Warehouse teams to maintain trailer flow.
