Job summary

Schneider National in Washington state is seeking an Intermodal Driver to haul containers on company-owned chassis, primarily with no-touch freight and frequent drop-and-hook operations.

Shifts require night driving; a valid Class A CDL is mandatory, with tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred. Residents within 40 miles of Kent, WA are encouraged to apply, with a minimum of 3 months’ Class A experience.

• 99% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within Washington.

Pay and bonus potential

• Hourly pay and load pay.
• Wage Scale: Hourly pay of $15 for all on duty hours (Line 3 and Line 4 time) in addition to between $27 and $37 for each assigned shipment you complete (specific Shipment Pay rate depends on experience).
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.
