Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for intermodal hauling of containers to and from major railyards across Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Expect 99% no-touch freight with 80% drop-and-hook, using company-owned chassis.

Pay combines mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay on duty (not driving). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is paid over the first year in monthly installments, plus paid orientation, PTO after 6 months and 6 holiday days per year, plus an annual bonus

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tank/ HazMat endorsements strongly preferred.
• Live within 75 miles of Baltimore, MD.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate within DE, MD, PA, VA and WV intermodal yards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain logs as required.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.
