Schneider National in Battle Ground, WA, is hiring for an Intermodal Driver. Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 99% no-touch freight and 90% drop-and-hook.

This role offers mileage pay, on-duty hourly pay, shipment pay, orientation, PTO after 6 months, holiday pay, and an eligible annual bonus up to 3%. Candidates should hold a Class A CDL.

Live within 40 miles of Portland, OR, and have 3 months of experience; tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred.

Qualifications

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Wage Scale: Hourly pay of $15 for all on duty, not driving hours (Line 4 time), Shipment pay of $10 per shipment, and Mileage pay between $0.52/mile and $0.63/mile for each assigned mile you complete (specific Shipment Pay rate depends on experience).
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 40 miles of Portland, OR.
