Job summary

Schneider National is seeking intermodal drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. Expect 99% no-touch freight with about 85% drop-and-hook efficiency as you drive in and out of railyards in Oregon and Washington.

Compensation includes mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty (not driving). Paid orientation, time off after 6 months, six holidays per year, and an annual bonus of up to 3% of gross pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsements are strongly preferred.
• Live within 40 miles of Kent, WA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Wage Scale: Hourly pay of $15 for all on duty, not driving hours (Line 4 time), Shipment pay of $10 per shipment, and Mileage pay between $0.53/mile and $0.64/mile for each assigned mile you complete (specific Shipment Pay rate depends on experience).
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
