Job summary

Schneider National is seeking qualified intermodal drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis with high no-touch and drop-and-hook efficiency. You’ll drive in and out of railyards across DE, MD, PA, VA and WV, with sign-on bonuses and comprehensive benefits in place.

Enjoy mileage and load pay plus on-duty hourly pay, orientation and paid time off after 6 months, plus a yearly bonus up to 3% of gross pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred.
• Live within 75 miles of Baltimore, MD.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 99% no-touch freight that is 80% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within DE, MD, PA, VA and WV.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
