Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking Home Daily CDL-A Drivers out of our Newark, NJ terminal. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (Saturday optional), early start times, and the possibility of voluntary layovers.

You will perform port work with light-touch freight and earn competitive daily pay with weekly opportunities. Benefits include a full benefits package, paid holidays and PTO, 401(k), and medical/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last year.
• Port experience preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred.

• Home daily.

• Monday–Friday schedule with Saturday optional.
• Day shift starting early (5–7 AM).

Pay & Incentives:

• Up to $300 per day
• Potential weekly earnings up to $1,500!
• Weekly pay
• Paid per move (step-based pay)
• Detention pay after 2 hours at ports
• Minimum $250/day guarantee for first 2 weeks
