Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking Home Daily CDL-A Drivers out of our Newark, NJ terminal at 80 Doremus Avenue Newark, NJ 07105. Pay & Incentives: Up to $300 per day, potential weekly earnings up to $1,500, weekly pay with detachment pay after 2 hours at ports and a $250/day guarantee for the first two weeks.

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Saturday optional), day shift with early starts and long days; voluntary layovers, consistent year-round freight.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last year.
• Port experience preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck for port work and daily routes.
• Maintain safety and on-time deliveries.
• Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.

Position Details:

• Home daily Port work Light-touch freight
• Monday–Friday schedule (Saturday optional)
• Day shift (5–7 AM start, 10–12 hour days)
• Voluntary layovers available
• Consistent year-round freight
