Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. seeks Home Daily CDL-A Drivers out of the Newark, NJ terminal. You will handle port work and light-touch freight with a day shift starting early each morning.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturday optional, weekly pay, step-based pay per move, detention pay after port delays, and a $250/day guarantee for the first two weeks. Full benefits include medical, dental & vision, 401(k) and paid holidays/PTO.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last year.
• Port experience preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home daily from Newark terminal.
• Port work and light-touch freight.
• Mon-Fri schedule with early starts (5–7 AM), 10–12 hour days; Saturday optional.
• Detention pay after port delays.

Pay & Incentives

• Up to $300 per day
• Potential weekly earnings up to $1,500!

• Detention pay after 2 hours at ports
