Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. in Newark, NJ is seeking Home Daily CDL-A Drivers to join our expanding intermodal and trucking network. You will operate close-to-home routes from the Newark terminal, delivering port-bound freight with consistent, year-round work.

Earn up to $300 per day, with potential weekly earnings up to $1,500, weekly pay, and a minimum $250/day guarantee for the first two weeks. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k) participation.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last year.
• Port experience preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home daily.
• Port work.
• Light-touch freight.
• Monday-Friday schedule (Saturday optional).
• Day shift (5–7 AM start, 10–12 hour days).
• Voluntary layovers available.
• Consistent year-round freight.

• Up to $300 per day

• Detention pay after 2 hours at ports
• Minimum $250/day guarantee for first 2 weeks
