Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support America’s food distribution system. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers in a timely, safe manner while representing the company professionally.

You will be responsible for pre/post trip inspections, proper loading, documentation, and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meets PFG MVR requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Meet PFG FMCSA Clearinghouse Requirements.
• Pass road test.
• Able to secure new DOT Medical Card.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections according to DOT regulations; ensure tractor/truck and trailer meet safety standards.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer for loaded and secured freight; verify invoices and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure equipment is secured; unload damaged goods and returns; complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Comply with hours-of-service rules and company policies.
• Maintain safety standards and proper handling of freight throughout delivery process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
