Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A driver to deliver food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes, acting as the face of the company and ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

The role involves driving tractor-trailer or straight truck, performing DOT safety checks, completing paperwork, unloading at customer sites, and handling payments where required. Monday–Saturday schedule, with competitive pay and a $10k sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT health card current or able to secure one.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Conducts safety checks and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Drives tractor/trailer and delivers orders on schedule.
• Unloads products and secures freight.
• Obtains signatures and handles payment where required.
• Maintains logs and completes required paperwork.
