The role aims to prepare individuals for becoming a McLane Driver, with structured on-the-job training and progression. Pay during training is $26.50 per hour, with potential earnings of $70,000 to $90,000 after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Effective communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor and attach trailer, secure lines.
• Operate the truck safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect equipment pre/post trip and document conditions.
• Use DDH to document deliveries and temperatures.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain driver logs.
