Performance Foodservice is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer or straight truck operation on local/intrastate routes. You will train, drive, unload, and verify deliveries while following DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Internal or external candidate track requires CDL-A.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete driver trainee or dock-to-driver training as required.
• Rides with and assists driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT rules.
• Drive to deliver customer orders according to route schedule.
• Unload, verify, and document deliveries and collect payments where applicable.
