Schedule is Monday to Friday with early morning dispatch; pay starts at $210 per day during training, with comprehensive benefits starting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• DOT Health Card.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Attends and completes Driver Trainee/Training Program.
• Ride-with and assist driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Inspect trailer, load and verify freight, complete paperwork accurately.
• Drive to deliver customer orders on schedule.
• Unload, stock, and secure items; obtain signatures and collect payments if required.
• Ensure vehicle and freight are secured at all times.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and keep area clean.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
