McLane Company, Inc. is hiring CDL-A Delivery Driver Trainees for a CK St. Louis location.

The role trains to become a fully qualified driver, with initial pay of $20.50 per hour during training and potential earnings of $80,000–$90,000+ annually once training is complete. Drivers are paid hourly with additional pay elements for miles, stops, and cases. Benefits begin on Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Complete training and receive Class A CDL in 6 months or less.
• Ability to load/unload and deliver ALL products as ordered.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform math calculations to verify quantities.
• Communicate with customers, management, and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor–trailer and comply with DOT regulations.
• Deliver products to customers and document delivery receipts.
• Assist the Driver in unloading and delivering to customer sites.
• Maintain driver logs and inspect equipment before/after trips.
• Learn routes and driving skills from a Driver Trainer.
