Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver to safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations. You will load, secure, and verify shipments, and support loading/unloading as needed.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and able to work outdoors in all weather. 12+ months of driving experience and a valid CDL license are required; you will work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and great customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
