Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL A Driver to safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites. You will load, secure, and verify shipments while complying with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Responsibilities include pre-inspection, on-site safety checks, communicating with dispatch, and maintaining accurate loads.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL in good standing.
• At least 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks and handle loads up to 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load.
• Notify branch management of hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the work site for safety.
• Maintain communication with dispatch for timely deliveries.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
