Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A or B) to safely transport building materials and support loading at job sites. You will ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, verify loads, and maintain strong communication with dispatch to meet delivery timelines.

The role requires lifting heavy loads, outdoor work in all weather, and teamwork to support operations across our branches. Competitive benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B and be in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety-focused with attention to DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
