QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A or B) to safely transport building materials and equipment to customer locations and job sites. The role combines driving with hands-on loading/unloading, adhering to DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety standards.

You will perform touch freight, inspect loads, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries, while operating in a fast-paced outdoor environment and maintaining safety at all times.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
