Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Driver to safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites. You will load, secure, and verify materials while following DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety standards.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and customer-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate professionally with customers and dispatch. This role is field-based with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Experience with loading/unloading and basic vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport building materials to customer locations according to routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections per DOT/FMCSA and company policy.
• Plan deliveries considering traffic, weather, and jobsite access.
• Maintain communications with dispatch and document delivery status.
• Verify delivered materials with customers and obtain signatures and confirmations.
• Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
