QXO is seeking a CDL A Driver to safely transport building materials and equipment to customer locations and job sites. You will assist with loading/unloading, verify loads, and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid CDL, 12+ months driving experience, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Benefits include training, and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
