Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver/Operator to safely drive and operate heavy equipment (GVW >26,000 lbs) and lead crews on customer projects. The role involves field work including cleanups, HazMat decon, and Emergency Response coordination.

The position requires a CDL A with tanker endorsement, ability to pass physicals and screenings, and willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• CDL A with tanker endorsement is required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background screening.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment over 26,000 lbs GVW, including Roll off trucks and tankers.
• Lead crews to complete customer projects safely and on time.
• Maintain safety, health, and PPE procedures daily.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log hours.
