Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a safety‑conscious professional to operate heavy equipment and support environmental services, including emergency response and hazardous waste handling. The role requires a CDL A, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and 2–5 years of driving/operations experience.

Expect DOT compliance, long hours, and a commitment to safety. Candidate must pass pre‑employment screenings and a background check. This is a field role with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A preferred; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• 2–5 years of heavy equipment driving experience.
• 1–5 years in hazardous waste/environmental services preferred.
• Pre‑employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate heavy equipment including but not limited to 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Roll‑Off trucks.
• Make deliveries safely and on time; maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance and ELD logs.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of vehicles; housekeeping duties as needed.
• Respond to 24/7 emergency calls; work long hours, nights, or weekends.
• Comply with drug testing program and company policies.
