Job summary

Republic Services in the United States seeks a Driver Operator to safely drive and operate equipment, lead crews on projects, and collaborate with Field Technicians on cleanups, spills, COVID and Hazmat decon.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (>26,000 lbs GVW) including Roll-off trucks, tractor/trailers, Liquid Vacs, Turbo Vacs, Sewer Cleaners, Box Trucks.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections; report safety issues.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and electronic logs (ELDs) as required.
• Work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call for emergencies.
• Potential out-of-town travel depending on service center and projects.
