Job summary

Lewis Environmental is seeking a Driver in the United States to operate commercial vehicles supporting environmental services projects. You will transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, respond to environmental emergencies, and ensure safe, compliant operation of all vehicles.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and teamwork within our service-oriented environment, with opportunities to grow through comprehensive training and on-call duties during weekends and after hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CDL driving experience.
• Hazmat handling experience preferred.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean MVR and pass FMCSA background check.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely drive commercial vehicles to support environmental projects.
• Compliance: Maintain all DOT and OSHA certifications for CDL operations, including hazmat materials.
• Safety: Follow company safety rules and OSHA regulations; complete required safety training.
• Emergency Response: Join On-Call Emergency Response Team for spills and emergencies.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and keep equipment in good condition.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste complies with regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Support service technician duties as part of team-based operations.
