Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver Operator to safely drive and operate equipment, leading field crews on customer projects. You will collaborate with Field Technicians on cleanups, spills, and HazMat decon work, while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

The role requires a Class CDL B or higher with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements, and may include on-call emergency responses. TWIC clearance is preferred and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Class CDL B or higher with HazMat and tanker endorsements.
• TWIC clearance preferred.
• Ability to lead crews and coordinate field work.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment of GVW >26,000 lbs; ensure safe operation.
• Lead crews to complete customer projects; coordinate with field techs.
• Maintain logs, reports, and pre/post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Stay on a rotating shift including days, nights, weekends and holidays; on-call for emergencies.
