Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver Operator responsible for safe operation of heavy equipment and leadership of field crews on customer projects. You will assist with cleanups, spills, HazMat decon tasks, and coordinate with Field Technicians.

The role requires a Class CDL B or higher with HazMat and tanker endorsements, and may involve on-call emergency response and occasional travel. A strong safety mindset and the ability to work rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL B or higher with hazardous material and tanker endorsements.
• TWIC clearance may be required as a preferred qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment with GVW > 26,000 lbs (Roll off trucks, tractor/trailers, etc.).
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all times.
• Work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call for emergencies.
