Job summary

American Driver LLC in Nevada is seeking drivers for a western regional run out of Sparks with strong miles and home every two weeks. No experience required; recent CDL school graduates are hired and trained on the job.

During the first weeks, you’ll undergo orientation and mentorship; you’ll earn at least $1,000 weekly during training, with actual weekly pay reaching about $1,300 on average. Expect roughly 2,300 miles weekly and added stop/unload pay plus a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours.
• 2 or fewer moving violations in 2 years and no DUI/DWI in 10 years.
• DOT physical, hair test and urine test.

Job description

Northern Nevada drivers: western regional out of Sparks with good miles, home every couple of weeks.

No experience? That is fine here. Recent CDL school graduates are hired for this route and trained on the job.

Pay and miles

• $800 a week from your first training day
• $1,000 a week guaranteed through your first 3 months on your own
• $1,300 average per week
• About 2,300 miles weekly
• Home every two weeks
• $15 stop pay, $75 unload pay
• Monthly performance bonus
• Weekly pay, straight to your bank

What the first weeks look like

1. A recruiter calls you and reviews your CDL and MVR together with you.
2. You attend orientation (2 days max). The hotel is paid, your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for orientation when hired.
3. You spend 4 to 6 weeks driving with a mentor, learning to back, plan trips, keep logs and fuel. That earns you $800 a week.
4. You are assigned your own late-model truck (1.5 years old on average), 10-speed or automatic. For 3 months your weekly pay will not go under $1,000.

Nervous about your first driving job? Fair.

• "Will one ticket disqualify me?" Not by itself. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• "Do I have to pay for orientation?" No. The hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you are paid $300 once hired.
• "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months.
• "Will I be gone for months?" No. You are home every two weeks.

On the road

All states west of the Mississippi.

Drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Some winter weather on the passes.
