Job summary

American Driver LLC in Phoenix-area is seeking new CDL graduates for a set loop driving job spanning Phoenix to Las Vegas or St. George, then to Southern California before returning. You will start fresh out of CDL school and be walked through every step.

During the first six weeks, you work with a driver leader and trainer; you earn $850 per week during training. After orientation, a $1,000 weekly guarantee applies for three months, with typical weekly earnings ranging from $1,100 to $1,300.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL in hand and at least 21 years old.
• Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours or 6 months of recent driving.
• 2 or fewer moving violations in 2 years and no DUI/DWI in 10 years.
• DOT physical, hair test and urine test required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a set loop from Phoenix to Las Vegas or St. George, and on to Southern California, and back.
• Train with a driver leader and trainer; earn weekly pay during training.
• Back up, plan trips, run logs and fuel with supervision.
• Be home for every 34‑hour reset and manage a route with scheduled stops.

Pay and miles

• Paid $850 per week in training
• $1,000 a week guaranteed through your first 3 months on your own
• $1,100 to $1,300 average per week
• 1,600 to 2,100 miles weekly
• Home for every 34-hour reset
• Drop and hook 80 to 90% of the time
• $10 first stop, $15 each stop after
• You get paid weekly

Your first six weeks, step by step

It starts with a phone call.

Our recruiter checks your license and driving record with you up front, so you know where you stand.

Orientation takes 2 days at most.

We cover the hotel and pay you back for a one-way bus ticket. Once you are hired, orientation pays $300.

Then 4 to 6 weeks on the road with a trainer.

They sit beside you while you learn to back up, plan a trip, run your logs and fuel. You earn $850 a week the whole time.

Then the truck is yours.

An assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average, automatic or 10-speed. Your first 3 solo months come with a $1,000 weekly guarantee.
