Job summary

American Driver LLC in Las Vegas is seeking CDL holders or new grads to join a western regional fleet. You will start with paid training at $800 per week, then a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months, and an average of $1,200 per week once solo. Expect about 1,800 miles weekly and home every three weeks.

During training you ride with a mentor; after that you’ll have your own truck with loads planned for you. Additional benefits accrue after 30 days such as insurance and a 401(k) plan.

• Age 21+.
• Class A CDL: new grads with at least 120 training hours welcome, or 6 months of recent experience.
• No DUI/DWI in past 10 years; max 2 moving violations in past 2 years.
• Able to pass a DOT medical exam and a hair and urine drug screen.

Pay and miles

• Paid $800 per week in training
• $1,000 a week guaranteed through your first 3 months on your own

How we get you from CDL school to solo

• Call: we talk through your license and record first. No surprises later.
• Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, one-way bus fare reimbursed, $300 after you are hired.
• Training: 4 to 6 weeks riding with a mentor who helps with backing, logs, fuel stops and route planning. Pay is $800 weekly.
• Solo: your own truck, fleet average age 1.5 years, 10-speeds and automatics. $1,000 weekly guarantee for 3 months.
