Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a professional driver to pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations. You will operate tractor-trailer units, perform safety inspections, and maintain daily logs.

The role requires a valid CDL-A with hazmat and tank endorsements, DOT compliance knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with dispatch. Overnight stays may be required in certain schedules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A with hazmat & tank endorsements.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and document findings.
• Strong communication and basic math for logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where allowed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and maintain accurate logs.
• Communicate delays or problems to dispatch as required.
• Load/unload freight and comply with regulations.
