American Driver LLC in Henderson, NV is recruiting new CDL drivers for company drives with mentorship. Trainees earn $800 weekly during training, then a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months solo, and $1,000–$1,200 on average with mileage pay of $0.50 per mile.

You'll run routes across the Southwest including Las Vegas, El Paso, Salt Lake City, and California, home every two weeks, with a mentor program and a full benefits package after 30 days.

Job description

Henderson drivers: a southwest triangle that keeps you close, sometimes with your 34-hour reset at home.

Fresh out of CDL school? This position takes new drivers, and we will walk you through every step.

The numbers

• Paid $800 per week in training


• $1,000 a week guaranteed through your first 3 months on your own


• $1,000 to $1,200 average per week


• $0.50 per mile starting band


• 1,900 to 2,000 miles weekly

On the road

Runs between Casa Grande, El Paso, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Southern and Northern California.

Shorter runs in heavier traffic, and some holidays are worked.

What the first weeks look like

1. A recruiter calls you and reviews your CDL and MVR together with you.


2. You attend orientation (2 days max). The hotel is paid, your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for orientation when hired.


3. You spend 4 to 6 weeks driving with a mentor, learning to back, plan trips, keep logs and fuel. That earns you $800 a week.


4. You are assigned your own late-model truck (1.5 years old on average), 10-speed or automatic. For 3 months your weekly pay will not go under $1,000.

• \"How often will I see home?\" You stay close to home and are home every two weeks, sometimes for your reset.


• \"Will my pay drop when training ends?\" No. You have a $1,000 weekly guarantee for your first 3 months solo.


• \"My backing is rough.\" That is normal. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you run solo.


• \"My school was short. Does it count?\" If you have at least 120 hours from a CDL school, you qualify.
