Job summary

American Driver LLC in Moreno Valley seeks CDL-A drivers for dedicated regional runs across AZ, CA, NV, UT, CO and NM. No experience? Recent CDL school graduates are hired and trained on the job.

You’ll be paid weekly starting at $850 during training and then $1,200–$1,400 weekly with 1,800–2,100 miles per week. Home every two weeks, holidays off, and benefits after 30 days including medical, dental, vision, Rx and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• 21+ years old and eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Handle dedicated regional routes across AZ, CA, NV, UT, CO and NM.
• Complete orientation and training, then operate with mentor guidance.
• Meet weekly miles targets and manage preloaded outbound loads; some live loads.

Pay and miles

• $850 a week from your first training day

What new drivers usually worry about

• "Will getting to orientation cost me money?" No. Your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed and the hotel is on us.
• "What if I get stuck or lost on the road?" Your loads are planned for you and your driver leader is one phone call away.
• "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• "Will I be gone for months?" No. You are home every two weeks.

From application to your own truck

After you apply, a recruiter calls to look over your license and record with you. Next comes orientation, 2 days at most, with the hotel paid, your one-way bus ticket reimbursed and $300 for attending once you are hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, trip planning, logs and fueling, and you are paid $850 a week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, from a fleet about 1.5 years old on average with 10-speeds and automatics.

On the road

Outbound loads are preloaded. Some return loads are live load and unload, and a few need a pallet jack.

You will need

You must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL. New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school; otherwise, 6 months of recent experience. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in the last 10. You will also pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test.
