Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL or commercial learning permit (CLP).
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift/carry hand freight weighing up to 100 pounds, several times a week.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles and straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies as required.
• Handle freight with motorized equipment (forklift, pallet jack) and secure loads.
• Maintain required documentation and reports, including freight charges.
