Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Texas to deliver food products efficiently and safely. The role requires 1 year of commercial driving, valid licenses, and DOT/FMCSA compliance.

You will interact professionally with customers, meet delivery schedules, and uphold DOT rules during intrastate and interstate runs. The position offers year-round pay at $80,000-$100,000 with comprehensive benefits starting Day 1, including health, 401(k) matching, and education assistance.

Formación

• 1 year commercial driving experience
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
• Must be 21 years of age
• Meets PFG MVR requirements for past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Meet PFG FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
• Pass road test
• Able to secure new DOT Medical Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight
• Must be able to work the assigned schedule required for the position
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• English language proficiency is required

Responsabilidades

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations; report safety issues and repairs
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards
• Inspect trailer loading; verify items and paperwork; move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer
• Ensure tractor/trailer/freight are secured; unload damaged goods and returns; complete end-of-shift paperwork
• Maintain daily logs and hours-of-service as required by DOT/state/company
• Uphold safety standards and proper handling of freight throughout delivery process
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all company policies and standards
