Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Texas to deliver and unload food products to customers, ensuring on-time, safe delivery. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, with overnight or shuttle runs as needed.

The role requires 21+ years of age, a valid CDL-A, and ability to pass DOT tests and pre-employment screening. A 4-5 day work week applies with Mon-Sat availability and comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Must be 21 years of age and meet MVR requirements (past 3 years).
• Pass pre-employment drug test and DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect loads and verify freight against invoices; complete required paperwork accurately.
• Unload damaged goods and returns; manage end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment.
• Uphold safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.
