Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support Texas food distribution. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck, ensuring on-time delivery and safe handling of goods while representing the company professionally to customers.

Role requires 6 months of commercial driving experience, English proficiency, and the ability to work a 4–5 day week including Saturdays. Training in Temple, TX is provided, with a competitive package including health benefits and a $10,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• English language proficiency required.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer or straight truck for local and interstate routes.
• Ensure on-time delivery and proper handling of freight.
• Complete required DOT inspections and paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the distribution system.
