Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring South Metro OKC drivers for OTR-style miles east of Denver within a fixed zone. Trainees are paired with a paid mentor and earn $800 weekly during training, then $1,000 weekly for the first 3 months after going solo, rising to $1,200–$1,800 per week once solo.

Expect 1,800–2,400 miles weekly, stop pay, and weekly direct deposit. New CDL grads are welcome; orientation includes hotel covered and bus ticket reimbursement.

Job description

South Metro OKC drivers: OTR miles east of Denver, no Northeast, paid training for new CDL holders.

Runs like OTR but inside a set zone, so you are not sent everywhere. Recent CDL grads train with a paid mentor first.

What you earn

• Paid $800 a week in training
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo
• $1,200 to $1,800 a week once solo
• 1,800 to 2,400 miles a week

Your week

OTR lanes everywhere east of Denver except the Northeast. Drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Home every two to three weeks.

What new drivers ask us

• "How often will I see home?" Every two to three weeks.
• "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone.
• "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
• "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo.

What happens after you apply

A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid $800 a week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.
