Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking new CDL holders for all-positions OTR driving with paid mentor training. Trainees earn guaranteed weekly pay during orientation and mentor-led training, then progress to solo earnings of up to 1,200–1,800 per week and mileage of 1,800–2,900 miles weekly.

First 3 months include at least $1,000 weekly during solo weeks, with home time every two weeks and paid orientation details.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older and hold a Class A CDL.
• New drivers need at least 120 hours from CDL school, or 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Must pass DOT physical and hair/urine drug test.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Train with a mentor during orientation and transition to solo driving.
• Follow DOT regulations, logs, safety checks, and trip planning.
• Maintain accurate records for fuel, miles, and stops per week.
• Meet weekly pay targets and progression milestones.

What you earn

Your week

OTR lanes east of Denver, no Northeast. Drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Out about two weeks, then home.

What new drivers ask us

• \"How often will I see home?\" Every two weeks.
• \"I am not good at backing yet.\" Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone.
• \"Does my CDL school count?\" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• \"Do I pay for orientation?\" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
• \"What if my first solo weeks are slow?\" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo.

What happens after you apply

A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid every week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.

To qualify

You must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL. New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school; otherwise, 6 months of recent experience. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in the last 10. You will also pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test.

Once you pass 30 days
