Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring South Metro OKC drivers for OTR routes east of Denver. New drivers receive paid training at $800 weekly, with $1,000 weekly guaranteed for the first 3 months solo, and $1,200 to $1,800 weekly once solo. Expect 1,800 to 2,400 miles weekly, and $15 stop pay.

You’ll be home every two to three weeks, with orientation paid and travel covered. After training, you’ll ride with a mentor during the ramp-up and then drive your own truck.

What you earn

Your week

OTR lanes everywhere east of Denver except the Northeast. Drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Home every two to three weeks.

What new drivers ask us

• "How often will I see home?" Every two to three weeks.
• "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone.
• "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
• "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo.

What happens after you apply

A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid $800 a week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.

What you need

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older
• New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen
