Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A Driver to join our foodservice delivery team. The role involves operating tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food products safely and on time to various customers, and maintaining DOT compliance and accurate paperwork.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with an early morning start. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered, with opportunities for growth within a major food

Competenze

• Valid CDL-A and clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety checks.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers.

Mansioni

• Communicates with customers, vendors and team in a professional, timely manner.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and DOT compliance checks.
• Drives and delivers orders on scheduled routes and secures freight.
• Obtains signatures and handles payment where required.
• Ensures safety, accuracy of paperwork and secure trailer/loads.
• Completes hours-of-service logs and maintains cleanliness of equipment.
