Job summary

Sage Clinical RCM, LLC seeks a CDI Optimization Specialist to lead workforce and regional operations for a large enterprise CDI transformation. You will convert facility data into practical staffing models, define productive standards and sustainable regional routines.

You will inventory staffing, analyze volumes and backlog, build demand-based staffing scenarios, redesign review sequencing, implement productivity scorecards and train managers to use the tools.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or another relevant clinical license.
• At least three years of clinical documentation integrity experience.
• CCDS, CDIP or CCS credential.
• Demonstrated skill in Excel analysis, CDI workqueue interpretation and workflow improvement.
• Ability to explain staffing assumptions clearly and coach operational leaders through change.

Responsibilities

• Inventory staffing, schedules, vacancies and work distribution across CDI teams.
• Analyze review volumes, productivity, coverage and backlog; set targets.
• Build demand-based staffing models and regional load-balancing scenarios.
• Redesign review sequencing and prioritization with clinical/workflow teams.
• Implement productivity scorecards and escalation routines; train managers.
