Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks an experienced CDI leadership professional to oversee hospital CDI teams, drive accuracy and compliance, and align CDI practices with enterprise KPIs. You will analyze data, produce monthly dashboards, and serve as a liaison among physicians, coding, and clinical quality to ensure inpatient record integrity.

Responsibilities include guiding strategic planning, managing remote teams, and presenting CDI monitoring results to hospital and physician leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and/or AHIMA/CDDS/CCDS credentials as required
• 4–6 years of recent management of hospital-based CDI teams
• Experience effectively managing remote teams
• Experience with encoder and EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, Meditech)

Responsibilities

• Oversee CDI team performance and ensure compliant CDI practices and regulatory adherence
• Develop and communicate strategic plans to achieve enterprise CDI KPIs
• Generate monthly KPI reports and dashboards for executive leadership
• Coordinate between physicians, coding, and clinical quality to ensure accuracy of inpatient records
• Lead orientation and education of new providers to the CDI program
