Job summary

Viking Electric in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a strategic Central Distribution Center (CDC) General Manager to lead a team of managers and operational leaders. You will drive safety, service, productivity, inventory accuracy, and workforce development to meet customer commitments and support growth.

In this role, you will shape the future of our supply chain, optimize labor and capacity, and foster accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, fulfillment, or related environments.
3+ years of people leadership experience.
Experience leading managers, supervisors, or multi-functional operational teams.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Lead all distribution center operations through a team of managers and operational leaders.
Drive performance across safety, service, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
Develop leaders through coaching, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Optimize labor, inventory, and capacity to support objectives and customer expectations.
Champion continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
Manage operating expenses, assets, and performance metrics to deliver efficient operations.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and results.
